Overview

The Communications Creative Content Manager will create, edit, and manage content for all College Park Communications channels including digital, print, and web. The Content Manager will also maintain the College Park Church website and social media. The Creative Content Manager will play an influential role in the overall creative process of the communications team.

Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Create, edit, and manage all copy for College Park Church communication channels: email, website, social media, print publications• Create scripts for all College Park Church videos• Manage the College Park Church website in all matters of accuracy and effectiveness• Manage and create content for College Park Church's social media presence• Develop and implement digital campaigns for College Park Church communication initiatives and events• Give creative input for College Park Church communications projects

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Marketing or commensurate work experience• 3+ years of copywriting and editing for business, church, or non-profit• 2+ years of social media management for business, church, or non-profit

COMPETENCIES & EXPECTATIONS

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office• Working knowledge of Ekklesia, WordPress, or other web CMS platforms• Excellent writing and proofreading skills• Proficiency in social media and content strategy• High level of attention to detail• Ability to lead one's self well• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ evidenced by action, attitude, and behavior
