Reaching & Teaching International Ministries ( is a missions agency that exists to reach the peoples of the world through evangelism and by meeting the great need for deep discipleship, pastoral preparation, leadership training, and theological education around the world.

The Director of Communications and Marketing will provide leadership and execution of all Reaching & Teaching digital, social media, and marketing assets, while developing a comprehensive communications strategy in order to raise the ministry's public profile and serve the church with missions resources. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a related field, possess superior writing and communication skills, have social media expertise, and be passionate about making disciples.



  • Developing and executing a thorough marketing and communications strategy
  • Serving as managing editor of the Reaching & Teaching blog
  • Facilitating the production of the Reaching & Teaching podcast
  • Writing the quarterly ministry newsletter
  • Managing and developing photo and video assets for use across all Reaching & Teaching platforms
  • Developing fundraising and support materials for missionaries and staff
  • Identifying external contractors with whom Reaching & Teaching can partner
  • Coordinating Reaching & Teaching marketing details at conferences and events


  • Mature disciple of Jesus Christ
  • 2-3 years experience in marketing/communications or a degree in a related field
  • Understanding of how to develop and manage a marketing/communications strategy
  • Excellent writing and communications skills
  • Social media expertise
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in Creative Suite or similar software (preferred)


  • Participation on at least one Reaching & Teaching short-term mission trip per year
  • Domestic mobilization travel as requested by agency leadership


  • Compensation to be agreed upon when hired
  • Reaching & Teaching employees raise their own support package and must contribute monthly service fee (7% of receipts or $400/month, whichever is higher) for employment overhead.

Reaching & Teaching has a virtual home office. Staff members are free to live in the location of their choosing.
