Spring Creek Church ( is eager to welcome an energized, high capacity leader as their next Discipleship and Life Groups Pastor. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced pastor with a passion for discipleship to join a healthy team in order to grow participation, maximize potential, multiply leaders and take a key ministry to the next level.

As a vibrant and healthy church that touches the lives of thousands, the time is right to press into the opportunity to further develop, strengthen and solidify the foundation that is present in Discipleship and Life Groups. This ministry is calling for a relationally gifted pastor who is experienced in discipleship ministry including small and mid-sized groups as well as leadership development and training strategies. This individual will be called on to elevate what is, while creatively innovating and implementing a multidimensional approach that leads to greater participation in the church community and spiritual growth in the people. A relational leader, this individual will take initiative with others, care about their stories, assess strengths and gaps within the ministry, craft plans and build teams to bring them into reality, and celebrate results. Ministry leaders and volunteers look forward to a pastor who will care about them, develop them and invest in their potential so that lives are transformed, and the ministry multiplies and flourishes. The Spring Creek team is made up of self-motivated, hard-working, high capacity, theologically intelligent pastors. Drama doesn't linger here and neither does laziness. The next Discipleship and Life Groups Pastor will enter into an environment where responsibilities and expectations are made clear so the spirit of camaraderie, generosity, loving support and empowerment can thrive.

Spring Creek Church is an independent, non-denominational congregation of 1500+ that is evangelical, baptistic and complementarian. Offering two Sunday morning worship gatherings at 9:30am and 11am, in a stunning 1,850-seat worship center, Spring Creek is a relationally warm and welcoming church that focuses on biblical teaching, missions and outreach, and effective disciple-making ministry for each age and stage in life.


The ideal candidate will be theologically trained, experienced and passionate about seeing people's lives transformed through Life Groups and other discipleship-focused relationships. The right fit with the team is a humble yet confident self-directed, internally motivated leader who can pace well with a team of high-capacity leaders. The pastoral team is focused but fun-loving, and enjoys the friendships and camaraderie that come with doing life and ministry together. Getting the job done will be a high value, but so will maintaining a healthy work-life balance and good sense of humor. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Master's level of theological training; demonstration of a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ; endorse and support Spring Creek Church's statement of faith, vision and values; a proven track record of ministry leadership in discipleship and ability to work with a team; strong communication skills, verbal and written; strong leadership, relational, organizational, technical and decision making skills; self-starter with an ability to effectively multi-task.
