As the spiritual leader of Sunset Presbyterian Church, this position is responsible for setting the spiritual direction of Sunset, living, and breathing that vision, and for spiritual edification of the saints and evangelism of the lost. The person in this position collaborates with thePastor of Ministries and Administration to provide leadership for the development of its ministries so that Sunset fulfills its defined mission and reflects its core values. The Pastor of Ministries and Administration and Pastor of Teaching and Worship work together tofacilitate and nurture a team-based organization that values and rewardscollaboration across ministries and team-based decision making, and to ensure the achievement ofministry goals. This pastor is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the following is required: Masters in Divinity; Demonstrated experience preaching and teaching in a church of 500 or more members; Attaining ordination in the Evangelical Presbyterian Denomination within two years of date of hire.
