Fox Valley Church ( in West Dundee, IL (Chicago suburbs) is eager and ready to welcome their next Student Ministry Pastor/Director. With a renewed sense of health and ministry alignment, it's an exciting time to join this dynamic ministry team! The incoming Pastor/Director will have the opportunity to identify current potential, leverage the solid foundation that exists, and further elevate the student ministry through relational, creative and energetic leadership. Fox Valley Church is a church of 500 that values intentional ministry and desires to lead people into deeper levels of transformational faith. Coupled with this value is an outward-focused, strong desire to reach people with the Gospel—this is clearly evident at this church and among its leadership. For those that enjoy a collaborative approach to leadership this will be an exciting opportunity. The Senior Pastor has encouraged a team-oriented, "round table" atmosphere, creating a workspace where ministry staff is positioned to be an integral part of the church wide decision-making process. Fox Valley will welcome someone who is passionately focused on students, empowers volunteers, equips parents and champions the ministry in a way that brings youth into deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.


As a highly relational leader, this individual will believe life is better together, and will consistently challenge and inspire students to take the next step in their walk with Christ, wherever they may be on their faith journey. Fox Valley will welcome an energized and passionate leader who will accomplish this through the development, coordination and execution of a ministry plan that effectively draws students and engages parents through a refreshed, biblical and creative approach. This person will also bring a demonstrated understanding for volunteer recruitment, retention, and training. Bachelor's degree required; Some level of Biblical/Ministry training or major; Experience in a multi-staff setting with a preference for a "team" dynamic; Spiritually mature and emotionally stable/intelligent; Embraces ministry as a lifestyle, not just a job; Effective communication and organizational skills; Theologically aligned with the EFCA.
