Volunteer Coordinator Part Tim

Position Summary: Living in Liberty is looking for an engaged, energetic people person for our Volunteer Coordinator position. The Voluntee Coordinator is a part timeposition, and will participate in recruiting, schedule and communicating withvolunteers. Additionally, the Volunteer Coordinator will manage all of the administration tasks for the the CEO.

Major Functions & Responsibilities

Upholds Living in Liberty's mission statement

Contributes to the achievement of overall organizational goals

Collaborate with groups within organization to volunteer support as needed

Manage correspondence between volunteers, organizations, and the public interestedin the volunteer program

Accurately track and record volunteer and foster hours for the Living in Liberty

Deliver scheduled communications to volunteers

Communicate news and procedural changes to volunteers

Communicates professionally and effectively with co-workers, management, volunteers and members of the public at all times.

Schedule will be determined upon agreement between CEO and coordinator

Uses Flip Cause database software for tracking volunteers, scheduling and tracking their hours and pulling reporting metrics

Coordinate Volunteer training.

Ability to work with others in a variety of high-stress situations.

Provides timely response to others via phone, email or in-person.

Ability to organize, meet deadlines, and coordinate large or small projects

Assist in the coordination of special events

Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time wisely

Regularly communicates with supervisor, discussing any challenges, ideas or suggestions for department or organization as a whole.

Performs other duties as needed.
