Youth Pastor/ Worship Director

Job type: Full-time

Category: High School/College Ministry

Location: Canby, OR Post Date: July 25, 2017

Overview

Bethany Church (www.canbybethany.org) is a 100+ year old, multi-generational church in the center of Canby, Oregon affiliated with the EFCA. We are a gospel-centered congregation in a thriving town 25 minutes south of Portland. Our new pastor is focused on making disciples by preaching Christ throughout scripture as we seek to reach our community for the kingdom. We want to speak the truth in love as we share the great grace we have been given with others.

We are searching for a full-time youth pastor/worship director to minister to the youth and congregation at Bethany Church and to work alongside our senior pastor to advance the gospel in our community. This two-fold position has the potential to develop into two separate full-time positions in the near future as God continues to grow our congregation.

We are aware that this position is essentially two part-time positions combined. We prayerfully seek God's guidance as He brings us a pastor who can humbly lead us in worship and has a heart for our youth. We are looking for a man who cherishes the gospel and seeks to grow disciples through a Word-centered, Christ-centered ministry.
