Marketing Campaign Specialist - LifeWay Christian Resources

Located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, our headquarters team leads, produces, and delivers biblical solutions to fulfill the mission and vision of LifeWay's ministry. LifeWay's Church Analytics and Insights team is seeking a Marketing Campaign Specialist. In this role, you'll collaborate with marketing strategists and customer analysts throughout the organization to create and execute email marketing strategy and campaign workflows, as well as provide response analysis at the conclusion of marketing campaigns.



  • Serve as power user of campaign management software to strategically navigate customers and prospects through marketing workflows, utilizing direct mail, email, web, social, and mobile channels
  • Improve marketing effectiveness by helping marketing strategists appropriately target existing customers and acquisition segments to achieve business goals
  • Work together with LifeWay's website architects and analysts to incorporate customer profile and web metric data into workflow strategy and execution
  • Research email marketing campaign best practices and technology in order to constantly improve marketing strategy and processes
  • Support marketing strategy by providing timely analysis of campaign effectiveness and return on investment
  • Collaborate with customer analysts to gain understanding of customers; Maintain a knowledgeable understanding of both church and individual sales trends and culture


  • Strong technical skills and mindset to program, manage, and troubleshoot database and workflow driven software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Experience using formulas, pivot tables, lookup function and ability to distill data into useful, actionable information preferred
  • Base knowledge of HTML and CSS, Javascript, XML, or SQL preferred but not required
  • Ability to develop email marketing strategy around customer segments and product offerings to help meet business goals

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
